We haven’t gotten much snow yet here in NE Ohio. I say “yet” because I know it’s coming. A friend of ours plows for a living and says that we get at least 102 inches every year regardless of when…we get it. So, I’m bracing myself for the down pour here soon. Last week, we got a light snow fall and so I sacrificed myself for you, my beloved viewers (wink, wink) and went out into the snow to get some pictures of my front porch with the fresh snow.
It’s nothing fancy…but that’s how I like it. I cut the greens from some pine trees behind my house. This was the first year I thought to do this…what took me so long?? We’ve only lived here 17 years!
My front door has this adorable snowman with our names written on it. I attached it to an artificial wreath and then just stuffed some real pine branches in it to give it a more “real” look.
The little chair was $3 and the lantern was $2 at ReStore. The bucket with my greens came from a flea market.
From my front porch to yours…Merry Christmas.
Blessings,
Joe, Emily, Eliana, and Adalyn says
I just found your blog and I love it!! We moved to Cleveland not too long ago and I have been trying to find a flea market around here. Any tips?

Love that you ‘braved’ the elements to take the pictures. Your porch looks adorable!

I wish I could help with the local flea markets. I don’t really go to any in this area. I frequent the one in WV where my mom and dad live. I do love my local ReStore though. They have a lot of neat housewares and tons of other stuff.

Awww your porch is inspiring to me. You did a great job and it’s very welcoming. I have some greenery out and lights but was thinking tonight that it just needs a bit more. I think I’ll go tweak it a bit 😉
