A friend of mine made these delicious beans for her son’s graduation party. They are amazing! She kindly shared the recipe with me and I am thrilled to be able to share it with you.

Ingredients:
1 pound sausage, browned
1 large onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 can pork and beans, undrained
1 can lima beans, drained
1 can green beans, drained
1 can wax beans, drained
4 Tbsp. ketchup
2 Tbsp. BBQ sauce
2 Tbsp yellow mustard
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
Directions:
Brown sausage while sweating celery and onions until transparent.
Then mix all ingredients together and bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
I have done these in the crock pot as well. Cook in the crock pot on low for 3 to 4 hours.
These beans have such a wonderful flavor and make a great addition to any meal or would be delicious as a meal all themselves.
