Dresser to Desk

Re-Purpose is a word I use often around here because I think most everything can serve many purposes.  Well, that’s the scoop with my brand new desk.

Dresser to Desk

Remember this dresser? I showed you a couple weeks ago how we refinished the desktop.

I found it at ReStore for $75 and I wasn’t looking for a new dresser, I was looking for a desk.  After many measurements, I knew this would fit in the spot that will soon be my closet office… as a desk.

Remember this closet and the wall that we tore out in our Closet Makeover?

And then the DIY plank wall that we put up in this space?

Well, this LOVELY space is going to be my new office and I could not be more thrilled!!

So, all that to say, My Better Half turned that dresser into a desk for my office space.

He had to do quite a bit of cutting on the table saw, a little  bit of rebuilding, and lots of fitting and refitting.

But he was able to turn the dresser into this new beautiful desk.
