The other day I was walking around the house proclaiming my need for chocolate. Despite me looking in the cabinets about 100 times and checking the pantry, frig, and freezer…there was still none to be found. I was getting more desperate by the minute and continued to declare my need. My 11 year old son then had the nerve to tell me that “chocolate is not a need “. Are you kidding me??? Chocolate not a need? I wasn’t sure whether to be thrilled with him for preaching my need/want sermon back to me or furious with him for not having any chocolate and trying to convince me of my lack of “need ” . Oh well… if you are in “need ” of a good chocolate recipe this week, this is a good one.
These are sooo good and super easy. If you like brownie edges…these are the cookies for you
Cake Mix Cookies
1 chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Mix cake mix, eggs, and oil in a bowl. The dough will be dry.
Roll the dough into 1 inch balls. Bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes. Cookies will be chubby, not flat. Let cool for 5 minutes and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Sounds good. I understand your need as I finally broke bad last night and fixed brownies. Thankfully, my hubby took ONE for lunch, so I can’t eat the WHOLE dish.
