My Better Half is an amazing man. Many years ago he built me an awesome deck. I L-O-V-E it. We eat out there, relax out there, the kids learned to ride their bikes on it…it’s a great deck. One of the reasons it’s great is because it’s big…17×30. We have an octagon picnic table, a bench with planters, an Adirondack love seat, and my new $5 rocking chair on the deck. It was missing a feature, some color, and a conversation piece. Well, since I’m practical and frugal, I put them all together in this beauty.
I was driving through town last week and saw these gorgeous shutters out in the trash. One of my teen-age sons offered to jump out and get them out of the trash…I was so proud!!
Don’t you just love turning trash into a treasure??
