Ok, it’s confession time…I wear my PJs more than I don’t. I do not wear them to the store however or out of the house except maybe to the garage or back yard. My goofy sister and I were going shopping one day and she came out to my car in her PJs to see if I would say anything…I was speechless, literally. I was thinking “Oh DEAR, has she gone this far!!” We stay-at-home and homeschooling moms teeter on the edge of sanity sometimes but that’s a whole different series post.
When they let me I do leave the house, I like to look nice. Gravity has had a strong pull over the past several years and so I’m trying to adjust my wardrobe but of course on the frugal budget. If you’re new here, I’m a HUGE thrift store, ReStore, salvage store shopper. I’ve showed you some of my shopping deals in the past but this time I thought I’d show you how I put these thrift store finds together into some fashionable outfits. Last week, my local American Cancer Society Store had 50% off everything in the store…I hit the jackpot!
Someone my size must have been getting rid of their entire wardrobe because I was able to get Aeropostle, Gap, Liz Claiborne, and many other name brand items for no more than $2.50 each.
Blessings,

I love this post and have thought about doing something like this soon! We have a thrift store that has ALL clothes for a nickle! lol! I don’t usually look at them but I think I’ll see what I can find! ♥

Cute finds! I’m a licensed in-home childcare provider, but I just take 2 part-time kids (siblings) so I consider myself a PT SAHM 🙂 I am thankful that we can pay the bills with me just working PT, since we can’t make it on just my hubby’s income. We are considering homeschooling and just beginning to look into it (our kiddos are 3 and 4). My wardrobe is…hmm…dwindling, so I may be paying a visit to a new Goodwill that was built about a 1/2 hour away. Hoping that someone my size emptied their closet there so I can get a few decent outfits before our budget gets even tighter (if we decide to homeschool)!

I’m a thrift shopper too! I work outside the home and 95% of my wardrobe is thrifted. Plus I get compliments on my outfits at work. SCORE! I love that I pay pennies compared to shopping retail. Love all your finds. My favorite ensemble is the last photo.

GREAT wardrobe options!! I have been known to potty the dog in my PJ’s and years ago, son had a paper route that I even drove him on in my PJ’s a couple times but guilt took over and I started at least putting on my sweats, lol.
Most of my wardrobe comes from our local Goodwill – it really is my little secret at work — I keep up with the fashionistas quite well and have 2 large closets FULL of clothes. With the exception of underclothes and a few accessorizing pieces, I get everything there 🙂
Blessings!

You did a great job!!! Have you seen a blog called What I Wore? (You can google it). I have gotten a lot of ideas from her. She creates great outfits with top brands blended with thrift finds and big box store finds. I think you would enjoy reading it.

Some great finds! Charity shops are the best places to find some gems! My girls and I often go ‘treasure hunting’ in those stores!
I would love if you came over and linked this project to my weekly Round Tuit party at:

Nice! My wardrobe is also all thrifted or super-duper clearance finds. Even both pair of my wintertime leather boots were thrifted 🙂
