Wednesday’s What I Found – More Thrift and Frugal Finds

As you probably know by now, I’m always on the look out for a frugal find.  Whether it’s a piece of furniture, a window, clothes, crafting supplies, or whatever, it’s hard for me to pass up a deal.

, Saving 4 Six

This weekend while My Princess was at the Home Depot kid’s workshop making this darling dry erase board, I spotted these Martha Stewart and Glidden paint samples.

, Saving 4 Six

They had a bunch of them in various colors all for just $.50…I snagged a variety of different colors for only $4!!!  These will certainly be put to good use in the future.
When I was in WV visiting my mom over the holidays I had to stop at her local thrift store.  This is the store where twice a year they have fill a bag for $1…this wasn’t one of those times but I still found a couple great deals.  The first was on these Pillsbury cookbooks.

, Saving 4 Six

I got this whole lot for just $3…15 cookbooks in all!  These are each $4.99 at the store these days…what a steal!!

, Saving 4 Six

I also found my new purse that day.  $2.50 for this cutie.  It has several good size dividers inside, so my purse is more organized than ever!

Have you found any great deals lately??
Blessings,

Super jealous of the paints! Were they on closeout? Seems like I’ve looked at them in the store and they were quite a bit more than that.

Yeah, I scored an “almost” new Tassimo for $10 at my local GW. I’ve been holding out because I knew one of them would show up eventually. Great score on the paints…I always love using the sample pots in projects!

I’m so sad they are discontinuing the Martha paint. I used a tester on a filing cabinet and hoped to use it on a wall someday.

Hey! Found you through HOH’s link party. I cannot see a link for frugal finds and not click on it. If I can’t be out shopping for deals, I love to see what everyone else finds. Thanks for sharing. You got some great deals!

Great finds! I found the same Martha Stewart and Glidden at Home Depot for 50 cents, but then the next week my husband went back and the Glidden paints were 5 cents! Just in case you wanted more. 🙂

Found you on Coastal Charm’s Nifty Thrifty Tuesday. I love that purse what a bargan. I also love the cookbooks. I got a bunch at a yard sale for 10 cents each but mine are all for vegetarian dishes. I love your blog and can’t wait to explore it some more.
