I’m back in Ohio now and My Better Half took the yesterday off to spend with the kids and me. We had a great day doing our first Geocaching of the year. It was so fun and got us eager to get back into it. If you haven’t tried it yet, you can read my post here about it.
We also visited a flea market. I was blown away by the prices…they were outrageous!!! I saw a cute lamp that I liked and tried to make a deal with the owner but she wasn’t willing to come down on the price and I wasn’t willing to pay full price…Bummer!
And then I spotted it…just about the same time My Princess did…this little Raggedy Ann doll. I love Raggedy Ann. We walked away with her for only $2. This same lady had a Holly Hobby doll named Carrie. I used to have the exact one when I was little. If she hadn’t had an inexperienced individual give her a hair cut, I would have picked her up too.
This peanut butter jar and pin can caught my eye and the owner threw them in for FREE…Love it!
This wooden barrel was only $2. I thought that was a fabulous price. I think it’s gonna go on my front porch.
These decorative bird cages were, well, nothing short of ugly but they won’t be for long! I’ll show you the finished look soon! I got the set for $2.
It was a really fun day and I got some great finds. I’m getting eager to garage sale…I hope they start here soon…probably not though…it’s snowing here in Ohio today…YUCK!

At least you found some good deals! The barrel is awesome and so are the birdcages! My daughter would want the Raggedy Ann doll too.

I enjoyed seeing your finds. I followed you over from a link party and I am glad I did. I’ll be back to check out your other projects. You might want to check out my blog Distressed Donna Down Home – today was a review of my junkin’ trip yesterday. We have similar taste!
