I love getting and giving personal gifts…ones that require thought and planning.  So, I’ve been thinking about a gift for a wedding I am going to this summer.  The couple is really cute and sweet and very creative!!  Pots and pans are out of the question as are bath towels.

So, let me introduce you to my idea…oh, well it’s not MY idea…but one that I think is good.  Check out Vecco.  They are a company that sells paint and sealer designed for carpet, stencils, rugs, or the kits all together.
You use these special products to paint directly on your carpet or in my case, I thought a rug with the new happy couples’ initials painted and sealed on it, would make a great gift!!

One of the coolest things about this paint is that if you happen to make a mistake, you can just vacuum it off and start again.  Nothing is set in stone until you seal it…not that I’m prone to mistakes and would need this feature…just sayin’.

The website also says that you can paint on most all carpets with good results.  Now, I know a thing or two about needing to paint carpet.

So, this looks like it would be really neat to try and would make a great gift!
