I’m back, I’m back…I took a week off of blogging to enjoy a week of vacation and planned to jump right back in with both feet.  However, LIFE HAPPENED and I’ve been living without phone and power for 8 days…more about that later this week. But I’m back now, so here goes:

Two weeks ago, my family enjoyed a week away with my sister and her family.  We had a great time with much laughter, memories and many newly seen sites.  Before we left, I came across an adorable pedicure at A Little Tipsy and knew my princess would love it!  Check out her darling toenails!!

Isn’t this so cute?  It was a little time consuming but not difficult at all.
First things first, remove any old nail polish and trim the toe nail.  Apply a pink or red polish.  We chose this pink because we had it on hand.

, Saving 4 Six

Next, tape of the ends of the nails with french manicure strips.  (Make sure your pink polish is completely dry and set before putting on these strips or your pink polish will peel off…trust me!)

Then, apply a green polish to the tips and remove the french manicure strips.

After this I applied a clear top coat just to seal the polish and make it last longer.

, Saving 4 Six

Then I used a black Extra Fine Sharpie to draw seeds on the nails. (Don’t apply the clear top coat after the Sharpie seeds…trust me!)

A Little Tipsy does hers a little bit different.  You can check out her tutorial here.
It’s a great, fun, summer pedicure…and super cute too!

So glad you are back too! My daughter would love for me to do her nails like this – problem is she is 2 and would not sit for that long. lol

I realized just a few minutes ago that the kitchen table that my husband and I picked out on Thursday is the same one you have! Trying to sell my high top table and chairs and then we will go purchase the kitchen table with a bench plus a few chairs. I can’t wait to have a lower table.

Oh man. Wish I had the patience to do something like this! Maybe if I was working on little girls toes instead of my own…Sigh.
