My Curriculum Choices

Homeschool

I have just finished my paperwork for the 2012-2013 school year. Homeschooling four children is no small job and unfortunately, I don’t get much of a break during the Summer because I must plan for the following school year. Choosing curriculum is one of my most difficult tasks.  I have spent countless hours organizing our curriculum plan for the next school year…taking into consideration…price, ability to reuse, and learn and like-ability.  Many of these resources are listed in my Amazon box on my right side bar.  The resources that are highlighted are either websites we plan to use or FREE pdf file books.  We are purchasing tablets this year for our older two children to use for school.  With the multitude of free books available…I HOPE this will cut down on some of the expenses of homeschooling.

in our homeschool we will be down to only one student…have most of the materials chosen, some dusted off from previous students, and others on order. Now, if we can only find our TT Algebra, we’d be all set!

Thanks for sharing, Carrie. That is no easy task. We homeschool too and have already started back. We’re still finishing up some of the books from last year, but I’m always on the lookout for filling in the gaps and for fresh material. I am your newest follower. I’d love for you to stop by Posed Perfection and maybe even follow back. Hope you have a great week!
    Blessings,

Coming over from Abbie’s blog 5days5ways. We homeschool as well and often get asked the question what curriculum do we use. It’s funny when I start listing off ALL the variations and they can’t believe that I am not just using one standard curriculum… That’s the Beauty of homeschooling. Your not BOXED in.. 🙂 Thank you for sharing.

We HS for 16 yrs. I loved it. I learned alot myself. But w/our last baby he decided he wanted to go to public school. I was ok with it and he is doing pretty good. So I have to go through some books.
Noticed you are doing MOH. That was my favorite. I have the MOH vol. 3. Would be interested in buying it?
