Making a Mirror Image

After spending several hours trying to figure out how to make a mirror image of my text for this Wedding Wall Hanging, I thought it would be helpful to share with you what worked for me.  I am sure there are other ways to do it and I certainly do not know them, but this one worked for me so I’ll share it with you.
First, type up your text.  I typed mine up in Word.

Then I copied my text and pasted it into (the program) Paint

Once in Paint, I clicked on “Image” from the top tabs and then “Flip/Rotate”

Then click “flip horizontal” and “ok”

This will invert your image.

Now, before you print, if your image is wider than it is long, make sure you change the page set up.  To do this, go up and click on “File” then “Page Set Up”.

From here you will click on “Landscape” instead of “Portrait”.  Now you are ready to print and work with your mirrored text.
I have read in many places on the internet that flipping an image like this is an option on printers.  This was not the case with mine.
Like I said before, I’m sure there are other ways to do this as well,  but this is what worked for me…I hope it  will make it easier for you too!

Blessings,

Great tutorial. I have been trying to figure that out for a while. Hope you will stop by. I have a party that opens each tuesday evening at 8pm EST and stays open through Friday. I’m visiting from Show and Tell Friday.
