Ok, so I just ate the most amazing taco I have ever eaten. It was so delicious, I just had to jump on here and share it with you!
Not only was this taco delicious, it was simple to make! The chicken taco filling only takes three ingredients and you simply throw it all in the crock pot.
All you need is chicken breast ( I used the frozen ones), salsa, and taco seasoning.
Let all of this cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 5-6 hours.
Take it out and shred it up. Then put it back in the pot with the salsa and seasoning.
It does not turn out this red…my flash went off on the camera and we ate it all before I had a chance to take another picture!! |
Mix it up and serve it on a tortilla with your favorite taco toppings.
This is a yummy recipe that I found on Pinterest.
Be sure to head here for the exact measurements.
Enjoy,

I love chicken like this! I make it like this often. Such an easy supper. i LOVE the crock pot
Simple plus slow cooked does it for me. Thanks for a new dinner idea.
So easy! I need to try this on a weekend when we can make it work. 🙂
Do you think ou could dump all the ingredients into a ziploc bag and freeze until your ready to make this? I’m trying to stock my deep freezer with meals before baby is born so we don’t have to worry about what’s for dinner!
Looks delicious. Can’t wait to try this. Anything that can be tossed in the crock pot is a bonus around here 😉

These look great! I use my slow cooker all the time, and I’m always looking for new recipes.
I host a link party each Thursday and would love for you to share this.
Thanks for the great post!

What a simple meal! Perfect for those nights when the roads are bad and it takes much longer than normal to get home!
Sounds really good. But i hate shredding the chicken. Hate it!!! I might get over my hate and make this tonight anyway.
Ok I’m convinced. I am making these right now. Can’t wait!
Love these. I throw the chicken in my kitchen aid mixer to shred it up really fine and it’s just like restaurant chicken. It makes for a couple extra dishes, but just an idea if you hate shredding chicken like Sparkling:)
