I get a lot of e-mails asking me about projects I have done in the past. If they have held up or not. One that I was a little skeptical about was when I spray painted my toaster.
I did not use any high temp paint, just Rustoleum Paint Plus 2x Ultra Cover. I also primed it first.
Soooo, how’s it holding up?
BEAUTIFULLY. It’s the craziest thing, if I’m honest with you. I can’t tell you how much use this thing gets and the plain old paint has held up almost like new!
I also spray painted my stove knobs at the same time and they look as good as new also.
So, if you are considering spray painting a toaster or stove knobs…Go for it!!
Blessings,
Don’t miss out on any of my upcoming posts…Follow along!

Increаse the temperature of thе oven to 450 degreеs.
After you’ve got the crust rolled out, transfer it to your pan or pizza stone. I’m surе уou’ll find our reviews to be honest and accurate.

Thank you both for asking about the faucet. The faucet held up well but started to chip here at the end. We are in the process of redoing our bathroom and that includes a new vanity, sink, and faucet. So, I would have to say that the spray painted faucet was a good short term fix…it has served it purpose but I’m excited to show you all my new bathroom in the months ahead! Thanks for following and for the occasionally comment. It is because of people like you that I continue to blog. You are an encouragement!

What a great idea! I never thought of spray painting some of our ugly colored appliances. I think I’ll start with our Toaster Oven! Great to hear that it holds up great too!

What about spray painting a kitchenaide mixer? It’s red right now, but when we makeover the kitchen, that red is NOT going to match.

This is so much better than buying a new one simply because the current one looks like trash! I am totally doing this to mine! It’s about ten years old, works just fine….but has definitely seen better days in the looks department! It’s awesome that update on the hold-up of your projects….let’s the rest of know if the project is worth our time!
