Last week I showed you my $5 mirror makeover. Well this week I have another $5 makeover that I am totally in love with and think you will love too!
I found this beauty at a thrift store and despite the looks from My Better Half…I had to have it!
I took the chandelier apart, being careful to keep all the pieces parts together and when to town with my Colonial Red spray paint.
My Better Half took down the old, somewhat boring light and was able to put the “new” chandelier back together without too much trouble.
Oh so much better!! And only $5….LOVE it!

I need to do something like this with our brass chandelier. I wish I could do it myself and surprise hubby, but I wouldn't know how to disconnect the wires. Thanks for sharing.

I think it’s so cool how the choice in color and finish, and omitting the kindof strange ring thing transformed it into farm house style. Very well done!

If you weren’t removing the circle thingy at the top, would you have needed to disassemble it? Would it not have worked just to spray paint it as one whole piece?
