This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walmart for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The kiddos and I headed out last week to buy Duck Tape at Walmart . I was amazed at all the choices.

Let me just say, Duck Tape® is no longer JUST the gray stuff anymore!

, Saving 4 Six

From camo to floral…they have it all.  We made our choices and were eager to get home and get creative.

, Saving 4 Six

With all our Duck Tape® selections, I came up with this handy Magnetic Locker Pocket.

, Saving 4 Six

Here’s how you can make one of your own:

, Saving 4 Six

First you’ll need to cut a pocket out of cardboard. Next select and line your cardboard pocket with Duck Tape®.

Once you get the cardboard pocket covered, lay out enough tape to cover the pocket.  Lay it sticky side up.

Then create a ruffle by folding another piece of Duck Tape® in half (sticky side together) and ruffle it at the top of the tape that you layed out.

After completing your ruffle, cover the sticky side of the tape with another layer of Duck Tape.  I used a contrasting piece of tape…just because.

Align this on the front of your cardboard pocket.  Then trim off the edges.

Now, tape this front piece in place.

Fold over the edges and then cover the back to give your pocket a nice finished look.

Finally, apply magnets to the back of the pocket.

Now, it’s ready to hang in a locker and store any odds and ends that need a special storage place.

We had so much fun creating this locker pocket and decorating our school supplies.

Be sure to add Duck Tape® to your Walmart school supply list.  It’s a great way to spruce up your new school year supplies and be sure to follow @DuckBrand for lots of creative inspiration!

Aren’t you just so creative? Can you come and be my mama for the day? Just kidding – my mom is pretty creative, too, but my poor kids are…screwed. Luckily, I can “steal” your idea! Thanks for sharing!

The first project I ever saw with duct tape was a wallet that my son made 3 years ago. He still uses it! I can’t believe how well Duct tape holds up. Love the organizing pocket you made.

So cute! It's one of those things that make me want to smack my head and say, 'why didn't I think of that?'
