So, I gave those of you that join our Think Tank Thursday a little sneak peek of what we are working on right now. If you missed it, this is was my little closet in the dining room.
Well, one day while browsing Pinterest, I came across some pretty cool things people were doing with closets these days and was totally inspired. I called My Better Half at work and told him my idea (yes, I did) and he said “When do we start?” Seriously!! That’s what he said!! So, I’m not an idiot. I know when a man is willing…jump on the opportunity! I cleaned out the closet that afternoon and that same evening my house began to look like a construction zone.
With the help of a sawzall, things came out pretty quickly.
The exciting part was taking out the wall. Once it was out, I started getting scared. What have we done?? That space looked so disgusting once it was exposed to light!
But it did really open the space up and we just added some pretty practical square footage to our house without adding on!
Well, we have made a bit more progress which I’ll show you soon. I am amazed at the possibilities after taking out this wall. I think you will be amazed too!
Wow! That is a lot of work. Awesome that your husband was willing to get started asap. 🙂 Looking forward to seeing what you do. 🙂

I think taking out walls is tremendously helpful sometimes…good luck on the closet! I’m sure it will look great!
Wow! what an increase in usable space! And you’re right, when men jump on our crazy pinterst bandwagon, there’s no time to hesitate, you must act NOW!!! lol
