My Princess has more than enough stuffed animals. Over the years she has been able to part with a few, but for the most part we are just down right overloaded with them. The other day I was putting her room back together again and I came up with this brilliant (if I may say so) idea.
I got really excited thinking this idea was unique to me and I could get rich with this one…then I did a quick search and realized I was a day or so late. Oh well, it still is working well for us…that’s what matters, right?
We got My Princess a bean bag chair for Christmas last year. One of the inexpensive ones that didn’t have much stuffing.
She hardly ever used it because it wasn’t comfortable so I took out all the stuffing.
And replaced it with her boatload room full of stuffed animals.
Now, all she has to do when she wants to play with one of them is unzip the bean bag chair and pull it out. When she’s not using them they can go right back in the bag and be zipped up for the next time.
It’s the perfect storage space for these stuffed animals and it’s now a pretty comfy chair as well. If you’re looking to store your family’s stuffed animals this way and you don’t have a spare bean bag chair lying around, I saw them today at my local stuff mart for $15. Which is still a pretty inexpensive storage unit!
