Are you ready for a super simple, cute gift idea under $5?? The other day I visited a friend in a rehab center and didn’t have time to run to the store for a little gift but I did have a bag of chocolate covered pretzels in my cabinet that I thought I would take her but then I realized they were open. Nothing like a half eaten bag of goodies as a gift, right?
So, I quickly thought…”put ’em in a jar”. That’s what I did and it was really cute and I think she appreciated it more than she would have if I handed her the half eaten bag! 😉
Well, that got me thinking…I can put just about anything in a little mason jar and it becomes a cute gift. I don’t have to make a cookie mix, manicure kit, or any other mason jar gift. This is even MORE SIMPLE!!
You get the idea, right. Open a bag of candy or treats, pour it in the jar, tie a bow, and VOILA! A super simple, cute gift for under $5.
Start thinking… mailman, teacher, neighbor, friend… choose their favorite treat and you can cross that gift off your list!

What a cute idea!!! I think I need to plan a trip to the Dollar tree….for the jars and goodies to put in them. Great lil extra gifts to have on hand just in case.
Ohhh and don’t think there’s anything wrong with using goodies from a bag already opened. It’s just that once it’s opened around this house, it’s GONE!!
