I pulled my blender out this weekend. My blender doesn’t get used in the Winter because the only thing I really use it for is frozen drinks. This Winter has been FAR too cold for frozen drinks, so I was super excited to get to try out a recipe a friend gave me during those cold months. The recipe was for Copy Cat Orange Julius. She said it was spot-on with Orange Julius Restaurant.
Well, we tried this with some out of town guests this weekend, and they TOTALLY agreed… SPOT ON! It is orange, creamy, and has a light hint of vanilla… OH SO GOOD!
The recipe is so super simple and you’ll probably only have to pick up frozen juice, because the other ingredients are staples that I bet you have at home already.
- 1 (6oz) can frozen orange juice
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 10-12 ice cubes
- Combine all ingredients in blender.
- Blend 30 seconds.
- Serve immediately.
This is perfect for an addition to your breakfast, as a snack, or for dessert!!
