I’m always on the lookout for easy dinner ideas and this is one that I have made for years! My kiddos request it often and it works well for dinner and then makes for a perfect leftover lunch the next day.
Here’s how you make these simple, delicious Taco Cups:
You will need:
1 pound ground meat
1 taco seasoning packet
2 cans biscuits (the little biscuits…the ones you get for about 2 cans for $1)
8oz shredded cheddar cheese
Fry up one pound of ground meat and season with a taco seasoning packet. While you are frying your meat, grease two muffin pans and press 1 canned biscuit in each of the tins.
Pour a tablespoon of seasoned meat in the center of each of the biscuits and then top with a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake at 375 degrees or until biscuits are golden brown. Remove immediately from pan.
We dip these in sour cream and salsa for dinner, and then toss the leftovers in a bag for lunch the next day.
Using the two cans of biscuits, this recipe will make 20 taco cups.
These are a great quick dinner, filling lunch, or evening snack. Be sure to give them a try and make them your own by topping them with your favorite taco toppings.
