Ok, so I’m not going to talk about the impending cold, because well, that is just painful so instead I’ll tell you about a precious little baby that is about it be born. A friend of mine is pregnant and her cutie (yes, I know he’s cute because I’ve seen the ultrasound pics and wow, they have sure come a long way in 9 years), is making his appearance in a few days. Anywhooo, I wanted to make something for her and her little one that may bring comfort in the days and months ahead and warming rice bags have been a great addition to my family over the years.
A couple years ago, I introduced these to you as we went from “sock” rice bags to the more fancy ones. Now, I just wanted to show you how I used them again for a baby gift. I found this saying for the pillows on Pinterest and thought it explained the uses in such a cute way.
You can find the complete instructions for the rice bags in my previous post HERE.
The only difference between these and the ones I made for the baby shower is that instead of a rectangle rice bag, I made a square rice bag.
So, if you are looking for a cute, practical baby and mommy gift, these rice bags will certainly come in handy to soothe a troubled spot, warm up a bed, or any other thing you use a heating or cooling compress for. They are also really easy to make and make a great gift.
