Last night, my sister, sister-in-law, and I went our for a night on the town. Well, not-so-much on the town but out of the town… a night out in Amish country. We headed out to a super fun craft workshop in a barn. Some friends of mine hold a beautiful Christmas open house each year in this barn and recently they have been hosting craft workshops there. Last night the girls and I went and made this crazy cute yarn covered wreath for Valentine’s Day.
At this fun workshop, all the supplies were there and ready for us to use. Our choice of yarn, burlap, embellishments, twine, everything we needed. We enjoyed cookies, cake, and hot cocoa. The clean-up was even done for us!!
Everyone worked on their unique wreaths and chatted along the way. If you’ve got a craft workshop in your area, I encourage you to go…it’s a lot of fun. Plus you get to make memories and a fun craft all at the same time.
This craft was so easy, it doesn’t require an instructor. If you’re not into the “going out” thing…just grab a foam wreath form, some yarn, and embellishments and start wrapping the yarn around the wreath! You’ll get inspired along the way or check out some of the finished wreaths from last night, here.
Happy Crafting,
