Fall is in full force around here and the foliage couldn’t be more beautiful!! I snapped this picture today just down the road from my house. Isn’t it lovely?!
I love the sights, smells, and clothes of fall, it’s just the cooler temperatures that I still have an issue with. So, to try to drown my cold air sorrows, I’m savoring the yummy tastes of fall.
Now, I will admit that the whole pumpkin spice thing has gone a bit far. Pumpkin spice bratwurst and wood fired pumpkin pizza were a couple samples at a local grocery store the other day… Pumpkin Spice Pizza?? NO THANKS! I’ll stick to my yummy “normal” pizza.
But I do have a few fall favorites that I like to make and enjoy each year and I thought I’d share them all with you!
This Apple Pecan Dump Cake is super easy and is one of my favorites. I’m actually making it for company this weekend.
Candy corn is my weakness. My Better Half keeps a secret stash for the days that I NEED it. I send him a text and he reveals the hiding place. This Sweet and Salty Fall Mix is amazing. It is the perfect sweet-salty combination.
My scrumptious Caramel Popcorn is well known around here. I give it out as appreciation gifts in the fall and enjoying snacking as I make it.
These goodies are my latest indulgence. Oh me, oh my, these Baked Pumpkin Donut Holes are A.MA.Zing!!!
I’ve been making this Crock Pot Apple Butter for many years now and I can’t express how delicious and easy it is to make. I would highly suggest you giving it a try. It’s delicious and makes a great gift.
I made this for last month’s coffee fellowship at church and at least three people asked me for this recipe. That’s why I call this The Best Pumpkin Bread. Apparently, I’m not the only one that thinks so!
My son loves to cook and bake and a few years ago he enter these Maple Frosted Pumpkin Cookies in a local pumpkin festival and took third place for them. The pumpkin cookie is just a traditional pumpkin cookie recipe but the maple frosting makes all the difference.
I REALLY love the sweet salty combination and this Microwave Kettle Corn hits the spot. It’s also inexpensive and easy to make.
Now, if you’re looking for a lower fat option, these Simple Healthier Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes give you that option, plus they are still really tasty!
This Bugle Cornucopia Mix is one of my favorite treats to have sitting out during the month of November. It’s a great reminder to be thankful and is a cute festive sweet.
Well, if you love fall, you’ll love these yummy fall treats, and if you are trying to adjust to the cooler temperatures, these will be some soothing goodness.
Enjoy!!
