Do you ever just give in to guilty pleasures?? Well if you do, this is one that is worth giving in to.
My son made this for dinner a few weeks ago (he even took all the pictures for this post without any instruction from me) and it was a big hit with the whole gang.
Here’s what you need:
1 package of hot dogs
3 cans Hormel chili
2 boxes Jiffy muffin mix (eggs & milk)
1 cup cheddar cheese
I tried to make it a little less guilty by using low fat hot dogs and turkey low fat chili.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour the 3 cans of chili in a 9×13 pan. Slice up the hot dogs and put them on top of the chili.
Prepare corn muffin mix according to directions on box and pour over hot dogs and chili.
Top with cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly brown.
Then ENJOY!!
I got the idea for this recipe here.

Haha, my mom used to say the same thing and I find myself saying that to my kids! The recipe looks great to me, now if I could get the kids to eat it! Found it at Happy Hour Friday, thanks for sharing! Mama Ging

Thanks so much for this recipe! I hate trying new recipes because Bradley is so hard to find something that he will eat and not pick apart. But I tried this tonight and both boys LOVED it!! Bradley even ate seconds!
