I’ve been wanting to do a major bathroom transformation for quite some time. Our main bathroom is very small, but it does have the potential to be a bit larger by moving the doorway out about three feet. This will require a new door, new drywall, flooring, and some other supplies. None of these things are in the budget right now, so this project will have to wait. My Better Half and I sat down a few months ago, to discuss what could be done to make the bathroom at least look better in the interim.
The old bathroom was, hmmm… BAD.
Several years ago, I purchased this beauty and planned to turn it into my bathroom vanity.
It was low on the priority list and so we didn’t get around to working on it until just a couple months ago.
Which leads to the dresser that we turned into a vanity.
You can see the AMAZING deal we got on this dresser and all the how to’s of the transformation here.
Now, getting on to the rest of the bathroom…
Removing the medicine cabinet left a gaping hole that needed fixed.
As we learned when we turned our closet into an office, a plank wall is an easy fix for a damaged wall. So that’s what we did in here too.
We found some really nice, rustic lighting that fit perfectly with the rest of the decor. I LOVE the light fixtures!!
The shower curtain is one that I had hanging up a while ago. I got it used at a thrift store, years ago and I still really like it.
The bathroom is really small, so getting a good shot is virtually impossible. That is why the photos are sort of pieced together. But you get the idea, right?!
It really IS a great transformation!

Just found you on pinterest and am currently remodeling my entire home. Would love to do a vanity like yours. I searched but could not find additional information on how you modified the drawers to accommodate the under cabinet plumbing. Thanks!

I am interested in doing the same thing in my bathroom but haven’t started for the fear of how to modify the drawers. When I read your post on Pinterest ,I was excited. But I can’t find your later post on how you modified the drawers. Please let us know ( I noticed others have the same interest).
