A few weeks ago, I showed you how we cut off the top of a TV cabinet to use the bottom as dressers for my boys’ room.

, Saving 4 Six

Well, I got busy after we were done cutting and made my own chalk paint.

, Saving 4 Six

I made my own tinted wax too.  You can see that whole process HERE.  The cabinet to dresser transformation is complete and I’m so excited to show you the finished product.

, Saving 4 Six

Isn’t is unbelievable?  Well, believe it people!!  I am absolutely THRILLED with the results!!

, Saving 4 Six

Ok, I have to show you a few more pics.

Now, if you remember, I got each of these and other pieces of furniture at ReStore for a little bit of nothing.  You can see the great deal and all that I got here.  But for this makeover…I did this four times, because we bought four of these tv cabinets and made them look just like this!!

, Saving 4 Six

So, if you like this transformation, I have to tell you…the best is yet to come!!  The pieces I will be showing you in the weeks ahead are A-MA-ZING!!!

, Saving 4 Six

Anywhoo, keep your eyes open for these old tv cabinets they can certainly be transformed into something pretty amazing!!

I LOVE the ReStore. Your homemade chalk paint turned out great! I keep saying I’m going to try it, but another procrastination. Maybe I’ll get it done soon. Notice I didn’t say now, lol.

Beautiful transformation! I’m just now getting into trying to give furniture new life. Working on a rocker now. Stopping by from Happy Hour Projects. If you’re still linking up this weekend we’d love for you to show the dresser off at All Things Pretty! http://sparklesandastove.com/all-things-pretty-linky-party-7/
